We’re berry excited you’re here…! As with all of our studios, we provide a fun, cheerful space to cook, dishing up encourage-mint to Culinary Creators of all ages.

Flour Power Denton is owned and operated by Alyson and Jonathon Richter. Our studio was established in 2022. Here’s a ladle background about us… Alyson is an attorney, currently working for an industrial equipment company.  Jonathon is in finance, currently the financial controller for an IT consulting company.

Our daughter started cooking and baking a lot during Covid.  We were both working, and so weren’t overseeing her very carefully.  She was using cookbooks as well as online videos… and the results were mixed.  So, we wanted her to have some more formal learning and looked in our community for a camp or class and were surprised there wasn’t anything (especially when we have two universities and a community college here, as well as a high school with an advanced technical center).  We signed her up for Flour Power in Allen (which is where we first met Angie, the owner!).  We then started talking with our longtime friend, Kara, about starting something similar in Denton…. the rest is history!

What makes our studio a big dill for our customers… We serve all ages of our community with Birthday Parties, Classes, Kid’s Night Outs, Adult Sip N’ Stirs, Corporate Events, Family Events and much more!  

We were a Best of Denton 2022 finalist in the category of Children’s Birthday parties and found out we are finalists for the same category this year – Best of Denton 2023.
